Heirloom Collection
An heirloom represents a legacy to those that come after us. Plastic bags are perhaps one of humanity's unintended heirlooms that will remain for generations to come. The collection is made up of works crocheted from used plastic bags that would otherwise have gone into the landfill. Each piece is also a pointedly out-of-scale representation of a household or personal object that once was traditionally made by hand, such as a comforter, dishcloth, potholder, piece of lace, a doily or set of curtains.
